Continuing the discussion from PS4 Interaction Bug:
I found a way to use your stuff after loss of interaction. You must be above the objects and crouch. This will let you pick up/drag all ground based objects. Also, switching islands seems to work, though you will always lose all your big crafted items. When switching islands, you get about just as many days on the new one before it too loses interaction. One other big thing I noticed is I saved right around 5 minutes before the loss of interaction happened. Reloaded the game multiple times, and every time the loss would happen roughly after 5 minutes of starting from that save.
