Hi everyone!

As 2025 comes to an end, Sam has taken the time to reflect on what the SD2 Team has accomplished this year and what they’re looking forward to in 2026.

We also want to wish everyone a very Happy Holidays from the SD2 Team and we’ll see you in the New Year!

I’m very excited to see this update. Happy holidays to the team! I’ve been checking in at the end of every month. In terms of the story line I wonder can there be a story mode and sandbox mode. I’d love to find luggage in the water or bodies to scavenge items, clothes, or messages from that add to the storyline. Perhaps the story could be you were on the plane with a friend or sibling and choosing to leave alone or find them and escape. crazy survivors along the way give you hints as to the persons last location. IDK. The dynamic water system sounds cool! Does that mean that if i drop a open coco nut it will make a splash and little fish will swarm to the coconut for food? Or does that mean we’ll have waterfalls, rivers, flooding caves, tsunamis underwater currents or monsoons???!!! Natural disasters the longer we survive to keep us on our toes and to keep us on the move island hopping after a volcanic eruption maybe?. Just spitting out more ideas. The part about the biomes also has me excited as I’d like to see the game teaming with life not just by the coast but out in the deep blue sea. From manatees, dolphin, flying fish , jelly fish, seals, octopus, monkeys, dogs, iguanas, goats, pythons, anacondas, crocs, big birds that we can find their nest, etc. I love this game so much I’m dying to see what you guys have done with it. Also I was looking at alternative games like Subnautica and I think they did a great job with the underwater element the caves, floating forest, kelp schools of fish and so much to look at. With more diving gear we’d spend hours on land and another set of hours under water. I feel like instead of the black hole abyss in SD1 the team can create a whole world under there to keep us exploring and to keep us busy. Even allowing a little bio luminescence at night to keep things moving. I know this game will have a lot of success. SD 4 Ever! Wishing the team health and strength through this process.

We are all eager! Good Job everyone!
