What are the chances of Stranded Deep 2 supporting PSVR2?
We’ve given this a bit of thought regarding some of the challenges talked about in dev blog#3. Just our two cents: keep it similar to how building worked in SD1. “The second version requires you have the resources available in your inventory or in close proximity before you can place the building piece”.
This game is fantastic - you just need more of everything. More water, more beaches, waterfalls, more animals, more fish, bigger islands, more distance between the islands.
Hopefully youll fix the realism a little..
In sd1, the tutorial shows you to make fire, cook food, then make a water still.. in reality, you can go a week withouy food (though youd be starving) but only 24 hours without water. I just get through the tutorial bit as quick as, then get on with the real way to do it.. h2o 1st.. the tutoial needs to be reversed.. if your not quick enough to learn it you die of thirst before you make a still, unless of cpurse you figure out you cam get moisture from cocomuts and canned food.
In life plants grow back, many dont in sd1 unless you farm. Ok, askimg for tree regrowth is a bit much to ask as trees take years to grow amd would complicate your engime, but plants should grow back really..
I really hope islands get some.. Ponds and Small lakes, or spilt islands.
Building wise, I liked SD1, I hope for floating parts to build a dock, or fishing spot. Abit better decor, so I can chill on a chair waiting for sun to come up insteading of standing there.
More islands would be cool. And better building of houses and structures. Maybe different animals. Waterfalls sound intersting. New stuff to do and collect. Maybe try and stretch out the game before you get to finish it
