When trying to load an existing multiplayer game, I get a timeout error. Cannot connect to server. I know this isnt a connectivity issue due to being able to join other games and start a new multiplayer save. I have run tests on my internet connection and everything is okay there.
Before I loaded the save everything seemed normal. I checked the cartographer and it indicated I was on the correct island ect.
I pressed X on play online, then host game, changed the visibility to private and then tried to continue from my previous save with my partner. The game says “New Game:Creating Session” and then I get an error stating “TIMEOUT:Cannot connect to server”
This is the second time we’ve had this happen in a week and it it getting tedious restarting after killing a boss or two.
I have tried starting and saving a single olayer game in the same slot as my multiplayer slot and this doesnt change anything. I have tried to restart the console with no joy. It seems like my multiplayer save is either corrupted or desynced but I can get it to load at all.
