Does anyone know how to add tools to the Toolbelt on the PC version when using a PS4 controller?

Hold tool belt in your hand to wear tool belt.
Hold L1 on ps4 controller then select slot using D pad then use left stick to highlight tool and press X
I am sure it depends on which gaming service you use but for me on Epic Games I hold L1 to select tools and equip the tool i want, when its equipped i hold the d-pad in the direction i want it in for a few seconds and hear a click when it kicks into place. Works well for the four directions but still haven’t figured out the extra tool belt slots.
