Light draw dist

So, ive tried to make my gaff a lighthouse…

“Where’s home?”

“Over there, where the lighi is…”

I have a tower and keep adding lights atop of poles - so far, just 3 grouped together. Still, i have to be at the island before i see th light and ihave turned draw distance to full…

Anyone actually managed to shine a light in the dark??

nope

i’ve been able to build an unmistakably tall tower that can be seen from 2 islands away, but i don’t think the game is fundamentally able to show light sources beyond your rendered sector

So aim for the sky with building… and you still see it at a distance? Again it dont draw until im close…
