when me and my friend play co-op and i host the game and build things or lay things down my friend cant see them or interact with them any fixes?

I was playing co-op with a buddy about 6 hours ago. I placed a standard fire down and he said he couldn’t see it. He did re-log and everything was OK moving forward. Both were on current version AppID: 313120 Build ID: 9285485
