Was just wondering could you essentially survive forever creating ur own island and gathering resources like that and repeating it?
100% Yes. This is how I build the larger island builds. I create custom islands next to my island build. I survive off of coconuts, and beans/rations I find in the ships from the custom islands. I collect the planks/wood/clay ect, and take them back to the island I’m building on. Rinse and repeat.

Thank you for response are you able to beat game and play on that same save file?
Yes. From my experience the custom islands don’t affect anything, including beating the game or unlocking trophies.
