Hello everyone,
I am planning to develop a free, non-commercial mod for Stranded Deep. The main purpose of the mod would be to fix some multiplayer-related bugs and explore the possibility of allowing more than two players to play together.
I would not earn any money from this project, sell the mod, or include any paid content. I only intend to share it with the community, preferably through the Steam Workshop or another community modding platform.
Before I start developing it, I would like to ask whether creating and publishing this type of mod is technically possible and legally allowed. Could it violate the game’s terms of service, copyright rules, or any other policies?
I would appreciate clarification from the developers or experienced modders.
