So I have crafted tables and chairs trying to get the trophy for crafting all items. I put some things on the tables but is there any use for chairs in this game at all?

There isn’t a use for chairs in the game at the moment - although you may be able to place Wollie in one, I have not tried. I have seen a note about being able to use chairs in a player suggestion list and can add your count to that requst if you like.
