Fast clicking sound when touching controler touchpad

Ps4 version 2104

Summary
Started playing game. When main menu poped up i noticed any time i accidentally touched or moved on the touch pad on the controller it instanly starts clicking super fast.

Settings
1 custom island but never had this happen before

Steps
Happens throughout game after reaching main menue

Extras
-havnt played in a while started a new game off an old one.

It happens when in main menu and in the pause menu but not when playing

it happens to me whenever i approach an island.
