If you are a Stranded Deep map maker, you can share your new custom island to the forum here.
Simply type the name of your island and leave a link.

Hi Burnhill, that’s a shame about the error. The link and my other content/custom islands should be visible and available to public. Not sure why you can’t view it in the Steam workshop?
Yeah an official thread for custom islands here would be swell, like the Steam workshop.

Honestly my custom island is nothing to brag about. It was created to harvest from and then refresh. Thus it pretty much just has things on it that can be harvested and tons of ship wrecks. However, here’s a tip so you never ever get lost. Make it huge and as tall as possible with one single very tall cliff in the center. Put this island center of your map in the cartographer. Usually this would be replacing your first island after the plane wreck. But what this creates is a landmark that’s very very easy to find. From there just note where your base island is and you pretty much can’t ever get lost…and you’ll be able to build whatever you want for the rest of your game. If you look in the background of this picture you’ll see my custom island, clear as day…miles away.!

Works now until we get a bigger map. After that Ill probably create a bread trail with custom islands. Dunno, But I bought the PC version a few days ago to get my fix in after the update. Still checking out what’s in it before I change things.
