[PC-Steam] [0.90] Entering Coop Code does not work properly

Summary
My brother and I are trying to meet online so he sends me a generated code of your game. Problem is you have only a very short time (like split second) to enter a letter - only if you click in the field and the vertical bar is popping up you can type. This makes it almost impossible to enter the code.

Seed
I selected existing world

Settings
Ultra Quality, no random world generated

Steps
It happens for me and him both.

Extras
We use both the same system:
Ryzen 9 5900x
Geforce 2080GTX
32GB RAM
