# \[EPIC\] \[PC\] \[0.90.10\] Cannot open wood containers

Just come to start playing the game again but when walking up to a wood container, it was press TAB to open. I press tab (well i have to press and hold) and it just opens my backpack. There is no way i can access the wood container. I can pick it up and drop it but I cannot open it.

I also cannot assign the quick shortcuts (1,2,3,4, etc…) to switch tools quickly.

I’m also having this issue, just constantly brings up my inventory. Kinda disappointing that this is still an issue after so many years and complaints. This really could be a good game if that wasn’t so broken. Change the keys or something at least devs!
